We’re getting ready for the kids to arrive tommorrow…making cabin welcome signs. Everything is going great. Be praying for our team as we welcome our students tommorrow.

Day One
Today has been great…
This morning, after a good breakfast, the guys moved a few loads of wood from our host home’s (my brother-in-law) back yard to a wood lot…meanwhile, the girls napped.
After lunch, we ran some errands. The most important store was our yearly pilgrmage to Sportsman’s Wharehouse…which is even better in Alaska. After buying necessities like camoflauge coffee mugs and chocolate that looks like goat droppings, we made our way to downtown Anchorage to see the infamous Ship Creek and enjoy the local flavor of shopping and gift shopps. After looking at an empty Ship Creek (all the King Salmon have already passed through the area), we looked in a book store, got ice cream, and were amazed at how many different articles of clothing you can make out of animal fur…including fur bikinis.
This evening, we will enjoy a spaghetti dinner (we had King Salmon last night) and spend some time as a team preparing for the week ahead. We fly out in the morning and are really looking forward to this opportunity to serve at Tanalian Bible Camp.
Please pray that God give our team unity and for unity with the staff at camp from other churches so that we can do the work of the Gospel together. Saturday and Sunday at camp are really important for coming together as a team and preparing for the kids on Monday.

Preparing for an Amazing Trip
Our team of 15 will be leaving in 3 days…Thursday morning. We can’t wait to take this trip and be used by our great God to serve the students at Tanalian Bible Camp.
We will be posting occasional posts to update anyone who wants to read this while we are gone. Unfortunately, we will not be able to post every day because of a busy schedule and a slow internet connection in remote Port Alsworth, Alaska.
Check out the camp website to view their webcams while we are at camp: www.tanalianbiblecamp.org
Be praying for us!
